Real time refresh rates
The PROPixx projector, powered by the DATAPixx3 I/O hub, supports the following native resolutions:
1920 x 1080 @ 60 Hz*
1920 x 1080 (16:9) @ 120 Hz
1920 x 1080 (16:9) @ 144 Hz
1280 x 1024 ( 5:4) @ 120 Hz
1280 x 1024 ( 5:4) @ 180 Hz
1280 x 720 (16:9) @ 240 Hz
1024 x 768 ( 4:3) @ 240 Hz
640 x 1080 @ 360 Hz**
960 x 540 @ 480 Hz
To configure the hardware to show stimuli at these resolutions:
Ensure the PROPixx and DATAPixx3 are connected to your computer via USB (2 USB connections total).
Turn off the DATAPixx3.
Open VPutil command line utility. Enter the command edid
You will be prompted to specify two EDID “slots:” these are resolutions and refresh rates you will be able to subsequently select from your computer’s display settings.Answer “N” to the Nvidia settings question.
Restart your PROPixx and power on your DATAPixx3.
Open your display settings and ensure your displays are not mirrored.
Select your PROPixx display and change the resolution to your desired resolution (it will be listed as “Recommended”). Navigate to Advanced display settings, and change your refresh rate to the desired refresh rate.[**360 Hz only] In VPutil, enter the command seq and select the Grey 360 mode.
The PROPixx should now display your desired resolution and refresh rate.
*Only available with the DATAPixx3 and PROPixx with direct DisplayPort input.
